About Zorba 2 Bourne. The Traditional Kebab House.

In February 2000 Zorba 2 opened its door for the first time at Abbey Road Bourne
“Ali” the proprietor that we all have got to know in Bourne and

the surrounding villages for tasty food, has been serving fresh traditional cooked meals

for the past 20 years.

“Ali” of Turkish descent did his national service in his homeland of Turkey and was trained in the traditional high skills of a Bolu Mengen chef, cooking in the army for all the command sergeants. This included the safe hygienic storage, preparation and cooking of the finest traditional Turkish dishes.

In 1997 “Ali” with his brother opened Zorba 1 at Lincoln Road, Peterborough and established a good customer following.

Many people from the Bourne area would visit and grow to love the food.
They often asked if “Ali” would open a Zorba in Bourne.
This came to reality in February 2000.

Ali’s success is due to many factors:

• Trying the food at all times
• Fresh meat marinating
• Daily fresh salad
• Cooking food in front of the customer
• Making fresh pizza dough
• Quick rotation of doner meat

and not forgetting the much loved homemade chilli and garlic mayo sauces!

All staff has gone through the City & Guilds hygiene level 2 requirement.
Zorba 2 achieves a 5 star food hygiene certificate

Zorba 2 also is proud to have received a certificate of outstanding achievement from the “Good Eating Guide”

Zorba 2 also delivers food locally and has a licence to deliver alcohol along with the meal, offering a great night in for customers.
